The term "Kaliterics" originates from the fusion of two Greek words: καλός (kalós), meaning noble, and τερ- (ter-), derived from τέρψις (terpsis), which signifies delight or fulfillment. It is further combined with the suffix -ικός (-ikós), meaning "related to" or "characteristic of." When synthesized into a single word, it forms Καλοτερικός (Kaloterikós), which in Latin transliteration becomes Kaliterics. The essence of Kaloterikós (Kaliterics) represents torchbearers (berserkers) of noble deeds, embodying the spirit of Renaissance—a revival of intellectual, spiritual, and cultural excellence. It conveys a sense of harmony, completeness, and profound fulfillment, both spiritually and holistically. It was coined by Raja Sourav Singh Sarmal on September 22, 2017, with vision to modernize and reconnect ancient traditions with contemporary realities, receiving spiritual endorsement from Bawa Kaliveer Ji. This concept is rooted in the ancient order of Kaal-Vastri/Siah-Posh, a lineage of shamanic warriors who provided cultural, spiritual, and administrative support to the Dogras and their Himalayan counterparts, with his ancestors also believed to be a part of this revered lineage. This order, believed to have existed for millennia, was instrumental during Maharaja Ranbir Singh’s reign, when they guided Madame Blavatsky, the Russian-American mystic, to higher spiritual understanding who encountered them in 1856-57. Their influence, though veiled in secrecy, played a crucial role in safeguarding the land's hidden knowledge. Their whereabouts later became unknown, but Kaliterics seeks to continue their legacy, acting as an extended organization to preserve and promote the traditions of the Dogras and the broader Jammu and Kashmir region. By re-establishing a righteous order, Kaliterics strives to ensure the rightful history and holistic development of the Dogras and their allied tribes and races. Our mission includes historical research, strategic planning, political support, and fostering diplomatic relations with countries sharing common historical connections, ultimately contributing to the region's growth and strengthening India’s global position through cultural and historical diplomacy.
